I tried to give someone my PayPal payme and it keeps saying its invalid

The PayPal me link is supposed to be PayPal.me/yourusername 

To request a specific amount: PayPal.me/yourusername/25

To request a specific amount and currency: PayPal.me/yourusername/25EUR

Other ways to get paid is to provide your PayPal email address or mobile phone number to sender; you may also send a money request, PayPal invoice or PayPal button email url to sender’s email address.
