How to delete a money request?

I am being solicited by an unknown party for money.  I keep getting emails reminding me of a pending money request.  How do I delete the request from my account so I no longer get the request or the reminders in my email?  Thank you kindly for your helpfulness.

Thank you for your post!

I understand that you are concerned about a money request. Here’s how to cancel a money request or invoice: Log in to your PayPal account. Either find the request or invoice on your Summary page or click Activity. Click Cancel next to it. Click Yes to complete the cancellation.

If you no longer want to receive payments or messages from another PayPal user, you can block them via the PayPal website or mobile app. I hope this information helps.

That did not work.  The payment request does not appear in Activity or Transactions.  I have the most current email date of February 24, 2022.  When I enter the transaction ID from the PayPal email payment request in Search Transactions, no results found in previous year to date.  The email has a PayPal service address as the return address with PayPal logo and payment link, which does connect me automatically to my PayPal account for payment.

Can someone please help me?
