How Do I know If My Payment is Received?

Hi.

I placed an order on kijiji.ca, a Canadian website, and the seller gave me their email to send the payment. They say they have not received the amount, and it's been five days. I just want to confirm if payments can take that long to go through. I used the email they gave me, and up came their name, so I know there was no mistake in the details.

I would really appreciate the feedback.

Welcome to the community and thank you for your post!

 

I do understand your concern with this. I can assure you that PayPal process payments instantly. If you sent the payment successfully, the seller would have received it. 

 

You can check the status of the payment in your PayPal Activity page. If the payment shows as Completed, it would mean it has been received by the seller. 

 

If the seller cannot locate your payment, you can provide them with the transaction ID. This can be seen in the email confirmation from us, and your PayPal account. This will help them locate your payment in their account, if they cannot see it on their balance.
