Checkout with paypal - wrong payment method from default in WALLET

I checked out from Sephora using paypal and I assumed that it would go to my default payment method from my wallet.

It did not.

Is there a setting to insure that it doesn't go on the wrong payment method or is that a Sephora thing??

Welcome to Community! I understand your concern regarding preferred payment method. Please click on the link for more information to set preferred payment method so the future charges can be deducted from the correct funding source.

I've also just experienced this with Lowe's & Air B&B. Both should have come off my credit card (the selected primary payment method) but did not. Now have negative balance on my debit and NSF fees from my bank.
