Can't receive money due to an error message (this recipient can't accept personal payments)

A contact from mine is trying since yesterday to send me $72 dollars to my account. This is a recurring procedure since I do small jobs for this contact, so getting paid through PayPal is, most of the times, an easier and quicker way. However, for the last week, this contact has been complaining about these error messages everytime. Yesterday, I discover that I can't send money either and that same message appear again everytime in the process: "Sorry, this recipient can't accept personal payments." What should I do?

Sorry this troll @vivienbeauchamp  has hijacked your thread.

 

There is a new rule that business accounts can't accept friends/family payments so would that be the case?

Oh, thank you for answering. I didn't know that. My account is not for business though, but I'll reach out that info to my contact.
