An approved transaction through PayPal using bank card with insufficient funds, am I good?

I paid for something through PayPal which used my debit card, but the card declined, yet on PayPal and the merchant it says that the payment was approved/preapproved. The card declined because of insufficient funds so I moved money to the account to cover it, but I was wondering if the transaction will still be good and won't cancel now that I have sufficient funds, since it hasn't tried to take money from my bank account again yet. Do I have to do something?

Hello @Poyosword15

Welcome to the PayPal Community! Sorry to hear you ran into some road-blocks with a recent payment. If the payment is denied by the card, normally the transaction will be declined on PayPal's end as well. If the transaction did go through, it's possible it was charged by another funding source you had on file. As long as that funding source has sufficient funds when PayPal tries to capture the payment, there shouldn't be an issue with the transaction.

However if it does fail when trying to capture funds from a bank funded Instant Transfer, PayPal may try a second time to capture it from your bank or backup funding source before taking your PayPal balance negative. In that case, you can add funds to your PayPal account to resolve the negative balance.

Hope that clears things up,
