DD JPMC RE PAYPAL, Is this normal?

Hi guys.

I was looking through my DD on my account today and noticed a DD setup going to 'JPMC RE PAYPAL'
I searched through these forums and some have said that this is normal operating procedure for PayPal, some have said it is a scam. Should I be concerned or is this PayPal's legit practice?

@Skulldozer

When you add your bank account to your paypal account it sets up the DD in your online banking so you can pay sellers from your bank account via instant bank transfer OR you can withdraw funds from your paypal balance to your bank account.

The DD is only used when you authorise payments to or from your bank account.

I have it in mine and it says £287 but it has shown that for ages as its the last seller i paid via bank transfer ( normally funds all my purchases with a credit card ).
