Payment not showing up in account

In my email, I have a receipt number, as well as an invoice number. The money was taken from my bank account. However, this transaction is not showing up in my PayPal account. My biggest issue is that I need to dispute the transaction, as the seller has never sent me the item nor refunded the money. Can anyone tell me how to resolve this issue? The seller is no longer responding, after months of contact, and I can't ever get customer service from PayPal!

If the payment isn't showing on your PayPal account, then it has to be on a different PayPal account.  When you made the initial payment, do you recall if you logged into PayPal or just entered in your card billing information without logging in?

 

It's possible that the payment was made using our Guest checkout feature.  If that's the case, you may need to contact Customer Service to see what dispute options are available.  There is a 45 day time limit for filing a dispute with PayPal so if it's been a few months, you may need to check with your financial institution to see what protections they have available.
