Receiving money automatically converts to HUF, why?

Hi all,

So my problem is that recently when I receive payment in US$, it's automatically converted to HUF when it arrives. US$ is my primary currency, but I'm in Hungary. Why is it automatically converted? It's never done it before.. 😕 

I've tried to search for settings that could help solve the problem, but haven't found any.

Could anyone help?

Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum.

Customers can now choose the currency or currencies in which they would like to conduct business. Sellers who choose to receive payments in multiple currencies will have the option of maintaining separate balances for each currency in their PayPal account, or automatically converting all payments they receive into a single currency.

You can manage multiple currencies in your PayPal account. Go to the Profile page and click My money. Then click Currencies next to "PayPal balance".
