I have recently started receiving a monthly salary in US dollars (my primary currency and bank account is in GB pounds). When I received the 1st payment I had two options "Convert this to x quantity in pounds" or "set up a balance in dollars". I selected the 2nd, thoug realised this was a mistake because the charge is placed on the dollar transaction then will be once again if I convert it to another currency. Anyway, the point is that I have just received the 2nd payment and I wasn't given this choice. The payment has automatically transferred to my dollar balance the the 1st fee already taken off. I want to be able to "transfer to x pounds before this is done to avoid paying to sets of fees. I know this should be possible because on the 1st occasion the ponds amount was more than after having accepted it in dollars.

Try removing your dollar balance. You can do that in the same place that you added it.

Thanks for this reply (from quite a while ago!) I tried doing this but subsequent payments have also gone straight into a dllar currency and I can't get it back to how it was before. Something else to try?
