My debit card is about to expire and I am abroad at the moment. Will this affect my account

I have  a UK paypal account and I use it to sell on ebay. The card that is linked to my bank account is about to expire, and as I am abroad at the moment it will take me time to sort out a new one.

Can I still use my PP account as before as regards sending moneyto family,  my bank account is verified .(12 years)

That's a good question.

Please don't worry though. Although successful payments are more likely when your account is verified with active financials, they are certainly still possible with your PayPal balance alone.

However, in your case, your bank should still be a valid funding source so I don't forsee any problems while you wait for your new bank card.

OK, thanks for taking the time to reply.

I did also email PP directly and basically received the same reply..

I contacted my bank in the UK and they are going to send a new card as soon as they receive a letter from me stating my Thai address.

So it looks like everything will be OK.
