Delete a draft invoice

Hi, I meant to amend my Invoice Template, but accidentally saved it as an Invoice. It now appears among my transactions as a Draft Invoice - it is blank, except for what it has retained from my template.

How can I delete/remove it? It is not a transaction, as no funds have been requested, nor is any recipient shown, so should not be applicable to the 7-year rule I've seen about actual transactions.

Thanks!

Hi there, we cannot delete or erase any actions in the History Log of your PayPal . Apologies for that. Though there should be an option in your invoiced templates to edit/remove. Please contact Customer Support for assistance if you are unable to remove it.

Will this ever be implemented? I would really love the option to delete draft invoices.

Hi HopeRealized,

As far as I am aware we currently have no plans to change this option. If this is to change I will ensure that you are notified.

Thanks

Paula

I would also like to see this functionality implemented. I see no reason why mistakes should not be removed.

Your US counter parts agree.  There is absolutely no reason why you cannot delete a "draft" invoice.  I created one as a test to see if it could be deleted.  Guess what, according to the response from a PayPal employee, it will remain with me for ever.

Does that even really make sense.  To normal folks, no.

I think there is a work-around for this.

You can not delete the wrong or test invoice, but you can use it as real one in future. In this way it becomes a normal invoice and not an obsolote item.
