Hello, yesterday I get limited on my PayPal account and the reason was: "Based on the information we have today, it looks like this account was created by an underage person or by a resident of a country where we don't accept customers yet." (I got this from PayPal on my email).
I would like to talk about first thing and that is account being created by underage person. I am over 40 years old and when I firstly created PayPal account I uploaded all required documents for KYC verification and they passed verification, so I thought my information like age, date of birth and address were fully verified, but it looks like not. Second thing is that I am from Slovakia and I believe Slovakia as a country is fully supported by PayPal, so I do not think I get limited for being resident from country where they do not accept customers/payments. My question is if anyone experienced same/similar issue like this and if yes, has your limitation been removed after contacting support?
I obviously already contacted support and they are reviewing my case, but I just wanted to ask community to get maybe more information about this.
Thanks.

Hello @jozef55,
Welcome! Thanks for stopping by the PayPal Community!
I understand your PayPal account was recently limited, and I'm sorry to hear that. I often see permanent limitations for underage users placed when an account holder created the account before they turned 18. Even if they're now over 18, the PayPal account cannot be used due to most government regulations. However, I understand this may not have been what happened in your situation.
Slovakia is a country in which PayPal is able to offer services. Is there any chance you use a VPN or have moved since you first created the account? Either situation could have caused the limitation. I'm glad to hear you already contacted PayPal Customer Support. Typically, a permanent limitation cannot be removed, but there are situations where it can be appealed, so requesting a second opinion is always a good idea.
I hope you receive an update soon!
