Paypal has limited my account. Paypal says I contacted my bank and stopped a transaction (buying a movie from Vudu). I did not do that. My bank has no idea what Paypal is talking about. Vudu has no problem with the transaction, either. I tried Paypal's instructions on how to resolve this problem. Paypal won't let me link to my bank account and says the "Preferred" method is to link my debit card. The debit card is based on the same bank account I have had linked to Paypal for years. I only use Paypal because it can link directly to my account so I don't have transactions fail when my Visa card expires every 2 years. At some point long ago before the https internet it was commonly thought that Paypal was safer than transmitting your credit card information over a leaky internet. That's no longer an issue. If I use the Visa card there's no reason to have Paypal standing in the middle of the transaction is there? Any idea what's going on?
