Paypal closed a case

Hi so I have a bit of an issue and I'm hoping someone can guide me here. I initially opened a case against a transaction for a game from battle.net/blizzard the case was closed as I didn't escalate it because the original issue had been resolved and I didn't see it fair to try and refund it. However the moment the case was closed blizzard have seen it and gone okay you have had a refund and removed my product. They are stating paypal has refunded it but they haven't. I tried to reopen the case and was told I couldn't, I managed to open a new case with a different reason then phoned up and spoken to someone who changed the reason to product not recieved basically because they had taken it off me. I provided proof and paypal waited for blizzard to reply which they didn't but ended up closing the case anyway and again no refund and I still have no game. How it stands is I've done the right thing and not escalated the original case and now I'm £60 down?? Help...

Hello @brooky11

Thanks for joining the PayPal Community!

I'm sorry to hear your reopened case was closed, and you still haven't received a refund. Once a case is closed automatically without being escalated, it's not eligible to be reopened, even as another case type. This could be why your case was closed once it was reviewed. Alternatively, the merchant may have responded to PayPal, and based on the information they provided, it was closed, showing that the item was originally delivered.

When a case is reopened, it would be reopened as a claim. In a claim status, any responses from either party are only available for PayPal Customer Support and not the opposite party involved. To find out exactly what happened with your case and if there are any other options, you'll want to reach out to Customer Support here

I hope you find out what happened!
