I really don’t understand the point of using paypal if they are not going to protect customers when they are scammed. I bought three shirts from this company, paid for expedited shipping and never received them. I filed a dispute with Paypal but now I am seeing that they scammed numerous other people but PayPal denied their claim. If they deny mine I am closing my account.

Thank you for pasting that title about PP being a part of the scam together with Chinese. Please let me know about the class action suite against PP.I want to participate, I was scammed by Chinese and PP twice.

I realize this thread is a year old but felt compelled to fill in some gaps with some questions to help you in the future. 1. Did you read the ad completely through? 2. Was the language grammatically correct? If not, 3. Did you Google there business name and find many or very few results? The fewer, the more suspect. 4. Is there valid contact information on their website? Test the email address to see how long it takes to get a response. Lie about not receiving your product that you haven’t ordered. Expect a rapid response. 5. Look up their address on Google maps. Use street view to confirm it’s a business and not someone’s garage, or, as I experienced, a vacant lot. 6. Use the ICANN domain lookup. Who owns the domain? Check that company out. Is the address there the same as the address in their website? It may be upsetting to realize after the fact that you were scammed, but due diligence is the consumer’s responsibility, before PayPal. Caveat emptor. Buyer beware. A link to some small marketing firm suggesting PayPal, a federally regulated bank, is colluding with nefarious Chinese scammers is uneducated. Check out the site for bias, and validity, always.

No, PayPal has enough feedbacks and resources to warn people against fraudulent companies. PayPal is partly responsible for all the scams that are around. If PayPal removed money from crooks accounts and gave it back to people who were wronged, the crooks would be more careful next time and maybe became honest for change.

You are so right! Paypal helps them to have does ghost companies because they don't protect the costumer. I am so mad because i stop using paypal long time ago and i don't know how, when i was paying did when through paypal. I didn't want it to used!

Im going to lose my dispute cs paypal is not going to get your money back. This fake company Monkeykickz printed a label to get a real tracking number. It was to only buy time to keep me from been suspicious. Its been 6 weeks and no product. Keep sending me tracking number thats saying the label has been printed and usps says it has not arrived yet to be shipped. I knew then they scammed me. The same responds “is give it more time”and when I do it still never arrives. These companys go the extra mile to set everything up to make it real the only thing is you never get product. They even goes far enough to cover themselves by having a answer for everything. But after 6 weeks or more no product and there giving same responds I know I’ve been scammed. Tracking says the samething that label only been printed for $1. Paypal is a good cover for them to reel ppl in to thinking their legit. Im done with paypal cause its useless.

I ordered three animal windchimes from the USA from an advert on Facebook by a company called Villageart on 8th December 2021, spending over $50 dollars through Paypal. After emails to the vendor (called Landbase Trading Co Ltd) and realising that the tracking app information they give you a link to is also a scam I have requested a refund from my credit card company as they are the card provider that I lodged with the Paypal account. They have refunded my money and they have confirmed this will be a permanent refund assuming VEAWQ Co don't refund me themselves.Judging by all the comments here, I hold out no hope of that happening.
