I have had multiple fraud transactions, paypal closed account in scammers favour.

There are multiple transactions to :  FOOD PANDA,

someone called AZAL for £314.84

GEORGIAN AIRWAYS LTD for £136.61

WWW AVIA MD for £339.41

The last three are all airlines

I opened a case for each of the above and bizarrely paypal decided they were all valid and made on the same day.

How I can be in all these countries on the same day is impossible.

How or what do I do to escalate these fraud transactions as Paypal has closed my case claim against them.  Can I go to bank ombadsman?

Case resolved and closed.

Eventually I called Mastercard Europe, who then put me in contact with the Paypal team in the uk (yes, they have humans).

After confirming that I had physical possesion of the card she re-raised the case.

I added notes that their own transaction list showed me making in-store payments in both London and the Philipines within 20 minutes of each other - physically impossible.

After 12 hours they resolved the case in my favour and refunded the fees.

Summary

Paypal make it next to impossible to speak to humans, which is what you need when the computer robots just keep saying "no".

Calling Mastercard was my route in, though apparently calling the number on the back of the paypal card does -eventually- get through to a human team.
You have to persevere and navigate your way past robots to speak to humans.

Their system should have recognised that there was no way that the physical card could have been in two places over 10,000 miles apart within minutes of transactions.  The spending pattern was also way out of line.

For me: I'm cutting my paypal card up, their administration is too automated and difficult to navigate.

I hope the above helps others.

This just goes around in circles.

Paypal has now refunded the FOOD PANDA.

They have rejected my clam for three different airlines : AZAL, Georgian Airways, AVIA Totalling £790.86

I have tried to raise it again but they just say it has already been closed.  These are clearly fraud, I am in the UK ...I don't even have a valid passport!

They were paid for on the PayPal Mastercard debit card.
Normally, if I make an "unusual" transaction I have to confirm the payments on the paypal app.

Strange how these "unusual" transactions didn't even need confirmation from the paypal app.

So, I am £790.86 in the red I cannot get past the paypal robot for help.
I tried calling the telephone support number, you just get the spoken robot.

It seems PayPal support fraud.

Can anyone help me to suggest a way to escalate this?

I apologise, but I think I did do as you requested?

Everytime I went to dispute or the message center (telling them I'd done a av scan) the robots just kicked in and I couldn't continue.

I tried to re-read your message to see what I've missed, but cannot see it.

So,

PayPal won't help.

I have reported this with a crime number.

Is there anyone at PayPal that I could actually speak to?
It seems to be just a bunch of robots that are unable to help.
Is there a human there at all?

1. Payments taken via my card (no verification given)
2. I report to Paypal
3. Paypal says case closed, no reasoning given.
4....err that's it no one to talk to.

Please help!!!
