Recently I was scammed on a transaction, but I thought "Hey, no worries! I paid through paypal, i'm safe." To my GREAT disappointment after all these years of using this service, I was proven wrong. It is absolutely obvious that paypal does not read nor look at records that you provide in your dispute case that you have been scammed REGARDLESS of how much evidence you provide. The scammer gave a phony tracking number, WHICH WAS CONFIRMED by FEDEX to be delivered to the wrong address nearby to provide phony receipt. I provided multiple screenshots from this seller providing an immense amount of evidence that they were a scammer and was denied my claim for a refund. I am extremely irate with this company and I highly recommend your staff actually starts investigating and reading the evidence before you help more scammers take peoples money and you lose customers.
Has anyone else been through this? What did you do to resolve it?

I had a similar experience and I thought the same as you that I would be protected by paying via Paypal. Seller sent me a package of rubbish instead of the over $100 worth of clothes I ordered just so they have a tracking number knowing full well that Paypal will accept that as proof. I'm giving up using Paypal, you are not protected at all.

I wanted a refund due to being scammed and just because the company in china was saying i could return item for full refund(but not if its damaged or lost) then my case has been closed and ive lost £27.55 to a scam. How is that fair?
