How do I use GDPR law to force PayPal to delete my account? (UK)

So PayPal arbitrarily decided to brick my account with some rather nice "limitations"- locking out all the options for using the account, as well as blocking me from deactivating it or changing email address/account details ect...
The account is entirely unusable and undeletable unless I upload a copy of my driver's licence, passport, and copy of my bank statement. I do NOT consent to giving this information to Paypal.
As such, I am now stuck with a broken, useless account that I'm not allowed to leave/delete.
How can I use GDPR (and/or similar data protection laws) to force Paypal to delete my account?
