Fraudulent charge by Bytedance

I’ve been charged with USD 98.80 on my Credit card by a company called Bytedance. On my activity it is mentioned: Tiktok. I got no idea why I’ve been charged with USD 98.80 as I have not ordered nor received any products or services from Bytedance or Tiktok. I’ve issued a complaint at Paypal, but they’ve rejected my complaint. I’ve reopened my complaint and it is under investigation.
how is it possible that I am being charged with USD 98.80 for a company I’ve never heard of and got no idea why USD 98.80 have been charged to my credit card. I didn’t receive an email from Bytedance nor Tiktok in which they’ve mentioned which product or service they’ll deliver for USD 98.80. The safety and security of Paypal is very poorly as I’ve never been scammed via normal bank transactions. I guess everyone needs to be scammed someday..
does anyone have a suggestion for me? Go to my credit card supplier and issue a fraud report?

We understand that you want to know the status of your refund which has been processed by PayPal. The time it takes to receive your money varies by payment method. In some cases, refunds go to your balance account in case we are unable to credit your original payment method or when you choose balance as the destination.
Within the Activity log, you will find the Refund Tracker. Kindly refer the Help centre article to know more about the process and status of the refund. In case you will not receive your refund to your funding source as per the time frame mentioned in help centre article kindly reach out to your bank.
