6 November 2023 sold an item. Silly me didn’t keep tracking because I ran into the post office quickly before going overseas. 6 months later I’m emailed saying they didn’t get the item. What are my rights if any?

Up to you, if you want to be nice and believe them then issue a refund as a goodwill gesture.
However paypal buyer protection only lasts for up to 180 days post purchase so your buyer may well be out of time to raise any dispute.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.

Thanks Kudos. I don’t want to be nasty to them but I question 6 month period and I know I didn’t keep tracking because I was rushing. I personally would never wait 6 months.
