losing a dispute

Hi!i book a flight which was cancelled thru my paypal account.The agent told me it will take 8 weeks but it took almost 16 weeks.I filed a dispute against the agent and it was in their favour.Then they message me that i need to close the dispute as the airlines can refund me just right few days after i filed a dispute that they got a respond from the airlines.Now i just got an email from the agent that they cant refund me cause they won the dispute.Have i got it wrong that i filed a dispute?

By agent, do you mean broker? Always pay for airline tickets with a credit card, not PayPal. Not preaching, just offering my advice. It sounds like you learned an expensive lesson. Unfortunately, PayPal does little to help customers in these kinds of cases.
