Xingyao e-commerce Co., Limited - Scam company

Hi,

Like a lot of people on this forum, I have been the victim of the whole order then get a different cheaper item. I opened a dispute with the company because I never received the item. We went back and forth for 20 days and then paypal stated I had to escalate my claim or it would be closed. I did so. The item then came in the mail and was not even what I ordered. I let paypal know, and included pictures. Paypal stated I must return the item even though I was sent the wrong one. That would be fine except the cost to send this back to China is huge and currently the post office says they cant accept packages to China because of the virus. I feel the company should have to pay return postage since it was their mistake, or resend the correct item. Now that paypal has stated I must return the item, I can no longer write anything on my claim, only the return tracking number. My text messages to paypal go unanswered. This company from China is one of many doing this while bait and switch thing. But from what I can see, paypal does NOT protect the customer, and is actually encouraging companies to continue this fraudulent practice by letting their practices continue. I mean I was shocked how many people have left posts here and yet Paypal ignores what is happening. In a previous post, someone had given some links to places we can lodge a complaint. Maybe the FTC?  Can someone send me that link again please?  and any other place where I can lodge a complaint?

thanks

Pay Pal finally refunded my money, not this company. I just kept asking to speak to their fraud department, and told them I was going to report them to the FTC (federal trade commission), and that this company was on violation of their terms of service, and it was pay pals responsibility to protect the buyer. I referenced that this is an ongoing issue with this so called company that they are knowingly doing business with. I told them it’s all over their forums and this company is doing a bait and switch on all these customers.

Paypal's incompetance is next level. I think no-one under the sun knows how it's possible this seller is still at large.

Today my case finally closed in my favor.  PayPal refunded my initial $29.87.  It has been exactly 3 months since I opened the case and almost 5 months since I made the purchase.

After refusing to accept the partial refund offers, I was asked to send the item back.  The return address provided to me was in Chinese.  Since there was no option to reply to this request, I simply added a comment saying I can not read the return address therefore I can not confirm I am sending to a valid address.  I requested them to send me a new return address that I can accurately confirm.  I think I put 000's in for the tracking numbers so it would at least allow me to send.

I was expecting to hear back, but nothing until today when they finally closed the case in my favor.

I really hope PayPal has finally shut these guys down and others will begin to receive a refund for this ongoing scam.

Beware this company appears to operate under Danjun Ecommerce Ltd too. I have had the same issue on an order sent from China, poor quality item, requested return, told return shipping was too expensive, offered a $5 refund on $45 purchase, went round and round with them by direct email, then PayPal. PyPl kept postponing the dispute resolution date to the point where I would have run out of time to dispute with my credit card company so I filed a claim there. Money was refunded by credit card company and PayPal customer service has been a joke. I can't get anyone to tell me how to access transcripts of my pypl conversations with the seller or with pp customer service because they say the case has been closed on their end because I went through my cc company. At times, I felt pp customer service was working for the seller. My new policy is not to buy anything from China unless I absolutely have to, and only then if the product is available for me to inspect before purchase. And to only use pp when absolutely necessary.

PayPal sickens me with their lackluster approach to customer service. It looks to me like once they got your money, "WHO CARES ABOUT YOU"! That's what they did to me. DO NOT run purchases through PayPal with your cash in their account. Only use Credit Card so you have some kind of recourse.

I'm am done! I just filed a complaint with the FTC and I think everyone here should do the same.
I'm also going to report PayPal to the various security podcast/news sites so they can run this as a story because people should know what is going on.

My next stop is RIPOFF REPORT. After that, I am on my way to make a complaint with the State's Attorney office in San Jose, CA  (PayPal HQ).

Again, I suggest everyone do the same. Finally, I will be visiting Quora to see if any attorneys are interested in a class action lawsuit. I hope it was worth it to shaft me for $40.00. Disgusting thieves.
