One of the leading causes of unrecognized charges is that there may have been a free trial that you signed up for, which included agreeing to a subscription payment arrangement at a later time, if not canceled. Many times, people will forget that agreement and then they get charged later when they've since forgotten the free trial. There's always the possibility of unauthorized access, if a fraudster obtained your password from a less secure platform or from any security holes in a network or computer that you may have used to access your account. Note that such a case will only be effective if it is determined that you in fact did not set up the payment arrangement or individual payment.
