I got an email saying I am being charged $500 on paypal, that is don't object it will be put on my account in 2 days. I think this might be scam, is that right?
Very likely. Forward the email to phishing@paypal.com so they can investigate.
Seems like scammer abuse of the PayPal Invoicing, estimates or money request features with scammy text triggering an email from PayPal. Look for a corresponding request/estimate/invoice in your account activity.
