Phishing email

I sent my PayPal details to someone who said that they wanted to purchase an item that I had advertised on Facebook Marketplace. They replied that they were sent an email telling them that I needed to update my account limitation as the £200 that they were trying to send to me was too high to be accepted by my PayPal. I also received the same email in my junk folder. Has anyone else ever experienced the same issue? And I assume that this is a scam? Thanks

Yes, the buyer is a scammer. Run.

I was pretty sure that it was but as it is the first time that I have advertised anything, I thought it best to get some others advice. And thank you very much for replying. Its much appreciated.
