I have been asked by paypal to buy a $100 iTunes gift card before I can receive my payment that has been sent to me. They said they will accredit my account the $100 buy why would I need to buy a ITunes card?

Hello @adler666oficia,
Welcome to the PayPal Community! Like @kernowlass referenced above, these are normally attempts by fraudsters to have PayPal users send them money / gift cards / expensive goods as they fraudulently pose as PayPal. You can read more about this here: How do I spot and report a fake, fraudulent, or phishing PayPal email or website?
Hope that helps!
