PayPal denied my case after sending proof

I've bought a product from MSI. My shipping information was correct and the item was shipped. Fedex notified me it was delivered with proof by a photo showing the delivery. The only problem is that my house was not in the photo. I walked the block and could not find this house. I contacted MSI who only communicate via emails which take 3-5 days to respond. They responded saying fedex delivered the package. I agree, to the wrong house. They wanted proof that it wasn't my house in the photo so I sent videos and photos showing my house, house number, and path along with my house camera activity of the day along with the photo Fedex provided. They thanked me and said that I should open a Paypal dispute for faster results. I did this, provided the same proof, and got denied because the tracking provided said the package was delivered. I contacted Fedex, MSI, and Paypal with no resolution. I don't understand how my case got denied after being told to open the case and provide the proof needed. Is there a way to have my case appealed?

This is a known scam and my claim was also denied. USPS confirmed sellers are shipping empty envelopes with tracking so PayPal will close the dispute. I’m getting no where fast on getting a legitimate response to my claim

Hello @tixgency and @Tjshopper,

Welcome to our community help forum and thanks for posting here!

I do understand your concern about the outcome of your dispute. The decision can only be appealed if new information is presented and you can do so within 10 days of the case closing.

As we go entirely based on the tracking information for our case decisions, we would have to ask you to work with shipping company to have them determine where the package was delivered. If they can supply you with a document that confirms it was delivered to a different address, you can reach out to our team to appeal the case.

You can contact us by clicking the contact us option at the bottom of PayPal page or send us a message through our Twitter(@AskPayPal) and Facebook page for additional assistance.

Good luck with the case!

Bindu

It took longer than 10 days to get proof from USPS but I DID get proof that the package was not shipped to my address. I uploaded that and have received nothing back. I don’t understand why and there’s no one I can get on the phone who will say anything that’s not one of the pre scripted sentences.

I filed a claim stating that I did nor receive merchandise form the seller. I sent a letter from the USPS that states that the package was not delivered to me. The letter stated that the package was misdelivered. Which means I did not receive the merchandise. PAYAPL denied my case in favor of the seller because the shipping info states delivered. But, the it says delivered around or in mailbox. My complex has cluster mail boxes which means that the mail could have been placed in the wrong mailbox, which is why the USPS sent a letter stating that the package was misdelivered. I want to know what is my next step since I have proof form USPS supporting my claim?

I have same issue and can't provide prrof because UPS can't divulge address that package was delivered to because of privacy. They confirmed to me by phone that it was not my address. I informed Paypal on appeal along with other information. UPS said only way to confirm is if Paypal would contact them with trkg number and my address, lady said she would let them know that it was not delivered to my address and my address was not on the shipping information provided by the seller. Paypal denied my appeal and I have no clue how I can get this resolved.
