Chinese Gaming Chair Scam

Saw an ad on Facebook do a gaming chair 90% off and bought it for 24.98us. The seller sent through a piece of fabric and now I can’t get my money back for not getting the right product. PayPal isn’t helping or I’m not going through the right channels. I disputed this twice and they closed it down. They also do not allow me to report this again and this scammer is getting away with it! Someone PLEASE HELP! Many more are getting scammed every day. The only reason I purchased it was because PayPal was involved and I trusted that if I was not serviced correctly that the seller would be forced to refund. The seller is a scam and I want PayPal to do something about it!

Wouldn’t Paypal or Facebook take some responsibility? We purchased two chairs and a gaming desk, but received something like a small dog leash.

Hello @ChanelleO and everyone,

I'm sorry to hear you're running into some issues with a recent purchase via Facebook. It is correct that all payments sent through the Facebook P2P platform do not offer seller or buyer protection. However, I would recommend reaching out to Facebook's Support directly regarding issues with their P2P platform.

Good luck!
