Can I use return item dispute once I cancel original dispute (undelivered item)

Hi so I purchased an item via eBay. The item took a long time to arrive, so I opened an undelivered item dispute with PayPal. Eventually the item has arrived, I want to return my item now. I have tried to do a return item request with ebay but because of the already opened dispute with PayPal I can’t open the return request. What is my way around this so neither of us lose out here? Could i cancel the PayPal undelivered request then open the return request with or as soon as I cancel the already opened dispute do I lose out on any future disputes/requests with that item?

Welcome! I'm sorry to hear a recent transaction hasn't gone quite as you had expected. Is the item not as it was described? If so, then yes, you should be able to change the case type from Item Not Received to Item Not as Described by reaching out to our Customer Support teams. If the item was as described and nothing's wrong with it, I would recommend contacting the merchant to see what kind of return and refund options you have.
