Refund paid to cancelled debit card

Hello, 

I purchased items online through paypal payment linked to my debit card. Few days later I requested a refund. Between purchase time and refund, I had to block my debit card. Refund was sent to blocked card and the funds are not on my bank account or paypal account. How do I get this sorted? Will the refund automatically go back into my bank through paypal?

The refund will return to your account which your old card was linked to. You card issuer can confirm this.
