Monarch Claim - Cannot load the claim in Paypal

I'm a customer who booked a “flight only” after Dec 14th 2016 thru Monarch:

I've tried to file a PayPal buyer protection claim through the "normal processes". However, the claim is not recorded (I haven't received any email confirmation), nor listed in the queue of pending actions.

Can you please help?

Thanks!

Thanks a lot! Is not clear whether we will have to re-submit the claim or it has been correctly recorded, but is not visible for us. Anyway I guess I will have to wait 😕

Hi, Sadly, that link doesn't help. It just leads to the generic page from which you can then link to file a claim. But it doesn't say anything about the technical issue and whether our claims are being filed.

I am the same as everyone as my claim dates back to March 2017 and on contacting PayPal was told 180 days had expired.

i paid on Paypal with my Visa debt card but can only claim via PayPal and not my Bank.  Hope PayPal make a concession with  monarch claims.

They have already said they can't do that.

If they do it for you they would have to do it for everyone that wants to file a claim post 180 days.

I am completely confused about how to claim a refund for cancelled flights. I have attempted to follow the procedure but the dispute centre shows '0' results

Same with me - incredibly confusing.

Do they do this on purpose?

i do very much think this is some kind of ploy to slow refunds down as there is no other explanation why the system says a refund claim has been logged already every time someone tries to do so.

and if a claim had been set up, why no email notification from paypal to people who it says already have a claim?

and my response from paypal has been to tell me how to open a dispute - i already know how, I tried doig it again and it said ive already opened one but nothing shows up!!!!
