Has anyone been paid out from pay pal regarding flights booked after the 180 day rule

I think some have but suspect that they funded their paypal payment via a credit card so paypal knew that if they did a chargeback then they would have to pay out anyway.

I opened 2 disputes for money which were over the 180 days.  Paypal promptly closed them down without even contacting me.  I managed to get through to an operator yesterday who has assured me I will get my money back - but it will take time as they are in contact with Monarch Administrators and our government ? (whatever that means).  She said to look out for an email stating the money has been refunded.

I will be keeping on the case with them and hassling them every week until this is sorted.
