Where Is My Refund?

I was told I'd get my refund in 7-10 days and it's been over 10 days!  It's impossible for me to contact Paypal through email or on the phone, I've tried numerous times!!!  eBay told me that I need to contact Paypal about a refund I am supposed to receive (which my Paypal account shows I received it) but my bank account was NEVER reimbursed.  What am I supposed to do now?  I really need some help so I can be done with this!!

I have never heard of AMEX but I can tell you that I won't be using Pay Pal anymore and I've used them for quite a few years now.  Not anymore after this incident!!!!!

is it the same for a debit card? you have to wait 30 days....i bought an item, and paid for it, then the seller canceled it cause it was damaged...the refunded supposidelt came out on hers, but i havent seen it anywhere on my bank account..

I'm having the same trouble!  I have been waiting for my refund since January!!! The company sent the money to paypal and it showed up in my paypal account.  Then just about as fast it showed "removed."  Only problem is that I didn't remove it and it wasn't sent back to my bank account.  I can't get anyone from paypal to tell me where my money went.  I am so frustrated that I am ready to contact the better business bureau!

Well that is not what I wanted to hear activemom!  I cannot believe you have been waiting for your refund since January!  This is RIDICULOUS!  The only reason I'm having to go through this crap is because a flat iron I bought from someone on ebay (who apparently was a fraud and got kicked off of ebay) refused to send my item claiming they had family issues they had to deal with and I waited patiently for over a MONTH for them to send my item!  It never happened so I am supposed to get a refund of $100.94.  Which I'm guessing I'll never see?  Well that's not going to happen, I am going to get my darn refund, this is NUTS!  Is this how PayPal does business?  I am in shock right now that my hard working money has been flushed down the toilet by someone....I just don't get it!!??

If the original paypal payment was funded with a credit card or branded debit card the refund will go back on the card.

How does Paypal show it.

Does it show a balance.  If so you have been refunded, and you will need to withdraw it to you bank account

This has happened twice on february 23rd bid was won for $22.50 this includes shipping seller did refund the money pay pal showed the  balance and then it was gone. On May 9th won a bid for $13.05 paypal said seller was unregistered and payment unclaimed although I paid I saw the balance for a few minutes a then gone. I also have credit for buy it now which amounts to $2.28 if you add this add up I'm owed $37.83 by paypal.This shows on my credit but I have no way of getting it. I have asked ebay they tell me to do this and that but at the end nothing. I would like to get my money by them by putting it into my account or discount on anther purchase. If anyone knows how to help and avoid this from happening please let me know. I hope e-bay and pay pal read this.

concepcion2, I got sick and tired of getting the run around with ebay and Pay Pal so I took it straight to my bank and disputed the charges that I was told would be refunded but never showed up on my bank account. I don't understand how customers can be treated this way, unbelieveable.

I bet you won't get the money back.. I waited 3 months for a refund for a violin but I never heard from the guy and paypal and ebay don't do anything about it!! Im sooooo MAD!!!

This is so discouraging......

I am supposed to be refunded $160.70 and paypal has the refund completed, but it's not shown on my bank account nor in my paypal balance.

I've never has such problems with paypal before.  It's a shame - and I'm starting to question if I will use them in the future.  Sigh......
