All I wanted to know was once paypal has received a payment from buyer at ebay, then do I have to do anything else at paypal to get it into my checking account?  My account is already registered in paypal.  Thanks, Frankie

Yep,

you have to WAIT until Paypal feels like transferring it over to you,

or they think up another fee to charge you on it so they can keep more of it.

Excellent question!  Once you have the funds in your balance, just click on "Withdraw" up at the top of the very first page when you log in.  Select the option for an electronic transfer to your bank account.  It takes three to four business days and it's free!

If it's free to withdraw the money, how come my $500 deposit was $485.20?  Did the $14.80 accrue in the form of another fee?

Found the answer: they paid with a credit card and passed the fee to us.
