PayPal payment speed/transaction timeframe

What is the timeframe for your payment to hit our PayPal account?  Is it overnite?  several hours?  real time?   Any help would be appreciated.

From the time that the sender sends the money via PayPal, in my experience, it usually takes 2 days or so.  Some people have been having issues with slow payments recently though or at least that's how it seems.

It varies.

I usually see the payment within minutes.

Some people pay in a few days, some in a week.

If it's an echeck, add 3-5 days for the echeck to clear.

If you've run into a Paypal glitch, it can be 3-4 days for the payment to post.

If you've received  fake email that says it's from Paypal, the money's never coming.

There's the 21 day hold.

There's suspicious transactions where Paypal has to "investigate" the payment - that clears whenever they're done.
