I saw in another post that paypal will not close an account if you have a balance. I do not have a 2nd bank account or credit card. I was never told I needed a bank account or credit card to spend money from my account or request a check or transfer funds to my husbands paypal account!
If I knew this, I would have never accepted payments into it. I feel sorry for the sucker that opend up an account just to recieve a large payment from a family member to pay medical bills, and then was told sorry you can't have your money. I can't remember where I saw the post, but this guy was unable to obtain a bank account or a credit card, so he tried attatching a friends CC just so he could get the money for his medical bills, and of course couldn't do that either because he ouldn't verify it was his. The sender just sent a large payment to PP and not to whom it was intended. THe the poor fellow still can't pay his medical bills.
Well I knew that would get your attention Surplus! Ok, the policy says any balance will be forfieted upon account closure.
Ok, now that I got your attention. Show me where in the agreement that is says
_ I need a traditional bank account to "send payments"
I've tried several different debit cards, I have seen people try several different credit cards, and it all boils back down to "need a tradtionla bank account".
