How do we specify item weight when editing a button using the new interface?

I logged into my saved buttons today and found a new interface. I changed the prices for several items. In the process, I noticed the new interface gives no place to specify the item weight. Later when I tested the buttons, I discovered that every button I changed the price for, the shipping became free.

It seems like whoever modified the interface completely neglected to incorporate the ship weight for each item, and now any edit of any item results in free shipping.

How do I get back to charging for shipping?

Did anyone find a solution to this? I created a similar "add to cart" button on an existing item and listed a "sale" price - and PayPal is not charging shipping on the sale items. I try to edit the "weight", but there is no place, as you say. I can't edit my existing items as there is no option for weight. I have all of my shipping by weight parameters set and have been charging like this since last year.

Same problem and of course this is just as I'm launching a holiday sale. Why would any rational development team make these sort of changes that will affect thousands of users with no guidance or notification?

PP is working hard to get me to change to any other platform for processing web transactions.

Same issue, have always used weight for shipping calculations and now there is no option to include that. Have been trying to get help from Merchant Services, has anyone had any luck with this?

They have now disabled this URL to use the old button interface, back to the same problem with no shipping weight option. This has been going on for months, maybe if they get more complaints to merchant technical support they will fix it.

And now the Legacy link doesn't work.

PayPal buttons used to be a simple thing to configure, now completely over complicated crap.

Time to switch to another eCommerce solution?
