How Paypal "No Shipping needed" works?

Hello, I work as freelance developer, and make websites for clients.

I have my client paid me today, but the transaction status is  "ON HOLD".

I opened the transaction and in shipping information marked the " No Shipping Needed" or so option, and I got response alert back saying "We notified  your buyer about it".

So I tried to search something specifically on how that process is going, but nothing so far.

My question is, does my client needs to confirm something on their side?

I asked her to have a look on the transaction on her paypal and see if there is something to confirm, but she said there is nothing, then I remembered it said, it will email the customer, so I wonder if there is some sort confirmation link sent to the my customers email or similar?

I simply dont feel comfort to chase my customer for this, and ask for additional things, since its online and shall be simple and not complicated as it appears to be.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers.

With payments received for tangible goods Paypal would request valid tracking information confirming the funds have been delivered to the buyer. Paypal can validate the tracking information online, once it is delivered they can release the funds. As you have received the funds for a service no tracking number is applicable and Paypal would be unable to release these funds any sooner than the 21 days.

The buyer may have the option on their account to mark the transaction as delivery/satisfied. If the buyer confirms this by clicking on the "Confirm Receipt" button, the funds may be released to you sooner. This is not always guaranteed.

@kernowlass  PayPal did accepted my client confirmation today and released the funds at my PayPal. However I did  tried to withdraw the funds to my  bank, which is verified and all, yet  for apparently security reason PayPal is going to hold the money for up to 12 hours additionally.
