Would PayPal use my credit card first or Account balance?

Hi, I wanted to know if I connect my credit card, would PayPal use the PayPal balance first or use my credit card?

If you have a PayPal balance, the funds from your PayPal balance is used first unless you uncheck the option to use your balance during checkout. If the total is greater than your PayPal balance, your PayPal balance will be used first and the remaining total will be processed with the card or bank account of your choice.
