Hi, short summary:
recipient/buyer has purchased an item from me from eBay. Subsquently we agreed on a partial refund to be made to the buyer (he has received the item).
As what I would do previously when I had to do partial refund, I clicked on the PayPal transaction where it will show me the transaction details such as amount breakdown. On the same page, there's a button which says "Issue refund".
From my past experience, when I click on this "Issue refund" button, it will lead to to another page where there's a box where I can input the amount I would like to refund. However, this time round when I click on the said button, it did not lead me to another page but instead it immediately refunded the full amount to the buyer.
I contacted PayPal and they said that they can't reverse this 'full refund' made to the buyer.
I am puzzled why it immediately refunded the full amount without allowing me to input the amount I wish to refund to the buyer?
Has anyone else experienced this matter?
