Can I get my refund to my paypal balance instead of my credit card?

Hi guys!

So, I just wanna ask that if I call the paypal or something like that can I get my refunded money to my paypal balance instead of my credit card?

Sadly not as its automated.

If you funded the original payment to the seller from your bank account or a card then once marked refunded it will automatically go back to that bank account or card. Paypal say allow 30 days although its normally much quicker than that, country dependent.

So, the full story

I tried to buy a game from a site, but if I buy anything with my credit card through paypal, it tries to charge it twice, but I don't have that much money on my credit card, so I tried to send my money to my friend's paypal, did it wrong and it charged fee. After that my friend refunded it, but then it refunded it to my credit card, so I'll have to wait, that's why I asked this cuz it'll be much faster way to get my money back. And ofc, with paypal balance the site works perfectly.

I get the reason why you'd like to get the refund back to your PayPal balance instead. Unfortunately, there is no way that this could be done even through a request if you'd contact the customer service.
