Reporting PayPal scammers

Hi there, my husband had dialed a number thinking it was PayPal (he ordered something from Shopify a few days ago) and got a man speaking with a very thick foreign accent, who wanted him to download and install an app called “Teamview Support.” This looks and smells like a scam. We were smart and didn’t give them any info, but who at PayPal can we contact to report this? Any assistance provided will be greatly appreciated...thank you!!

Paypal can't do anything about it as they are nothing to do with paypal.

Its a SCAM.
It would not be paypal customer services that you called it would be a FAKE number pretending to be paypal customer services.
The number shows up when you use 'google' to find paypals number OR a scammer has posted a thread in this forum.

That is why paypal NEVER post their phone number on this forum.
The only way to get the REAL paypal customer services number is via help / contact bottom left of paypal pages and scrolling down past the FAQ to the 'call us' option to phone them.
