I’m surprised that PayPal can take away their terms and literally insert the terms of a third party and say “This is the way it is now” with no agreement from the consumers whatsoever. Shouldn’t the new company have to abide by the agreements specifically agreed upon during the process when we agreed to Paypal’s terms, at least for the people already intertwined with PayPal (maybe forever now that the interest is skyrocketing)?

If you want legal advice then your best bet is to talk to a lawyer.
I am sure paypal would have checked all that out before making any legal changes?
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
