How do i get a copy of my a conversation with the customer service agent?

At the end of my first conversation with a service agent i asked how could get a copy of the conversation. I was told to look in privacy and security for the option to request a copy but there wasn't any option to do this. The conversation developed into a protracted conversation with me sending screen shots of the pages i was told to go to so that the agent could see that the option wasn't there. The agent eventually told me that when i closed the conversation i would be given the option to get a copy. I closed the conversation and there was no such option. This makes me think i was told this just to get me to close the conversation or that the agent wasn't adequately trained or familiar with Paypals website and customer options.
I need copy of the conversations I have for my records. All the online chats I've had with other organisations eg my banks HMG etc have a simple and easy way of getting a copy of the conversation.
Is it possible get a transcript of conversations with Paypal agents? and if so can anyone let me know exactly how to do it ?

Thanks for your post, and welcome to the Community! I'm sorry you've been unable to request a copy of your conversation. Generally, the option to request a copy should appear within the conversation and will only be available for up to 90 days. If you've been unable to request a copy of the conversations, then I would recommend getting in touch with our customer support team by selecting Contact at the bottom or any PayPal page. I hope this can be resolved soon!
