Help with paypal invoice

Hi 

looking for some help and reasurance regarding a paypal invoice ive just being sent.

I have just bought a vehicle from a seller that lives miles away and ive never met.

We have agreed a price and due to him having sudden urgent work commitments he has arranged for the vehicle to be delivered to me free of charge and also set up a 5 day warranty as to ebay paypal rules icluding full refund of my payment if in anyway im not satisfied.

He has sent me a Paypal reference no which i am to pay before he ships the vehicle.

He says paypal will hold the funds until i am satisfied.

Apparently as soon as i pay it he will ship the vehicle.

Its the first time ive done this so just really need to be told that this is legite.

PayPal its not a 100% guarantee that PayPal will hold the payment. It depends on many factors:

PayPal is not an escrow service.

Vehicles are not covered by PayPal buyer or seller protection program so if there is any issue, it must be settled by small claims court or some kind of arbitration service.

If seller do not think its important enough to be on hand to deliver the car over...keep it movin'.

I appear to have been scammed in a very similar fashion - same promises made by ebay seller 6655janet.
