Fee question ......

I could not find this right away already, but I have a business account on Paypal.

When I send money to someone on my contact list, who pays the fee, or how can I send money

so that I am the one that pays any fees?

OK, let me be more specific.

I have a person in my contact list.

I like to sing and so I hired an instructor for voice lessons.

But, when I clicked on the quick link to send him payment

I did not see how I could have configured the payment

so that it would charge me instead of him. So, what I did

was give him some extra money to cover those expenses.

So, for future, how do I do the transaction differently?

I just get frusytrated to have to remember all of this so

that the transaction will turn out the way I want!

Hey, PayPal, if your listening, it would be great to have

just a single send money portal and have a drop down box

that asks the question, 'Who is going to pay the fee?

Sender or receiver. That way the person who is

sending the money does not have to be concerned

with what type of transaction to put in!  So, so

frustrating and is one reason I do not use PayPal

unless I have to!  Some might say it is simple,

but for some of us who don't use PayPal that

often it can be hard to remember which type

of transaction to use and it can easily end up

causing a problem between me and the

person I am sending the money to because

a lot of the people I do this with, if I do it

wrong, they get all upset about the fee

even though its not very much!  PLEASE

simplify the process!  At least for some

of us, you would be doing a real disservice

to not do something to make it easier!

Regardless of account type..........

If you are a seller and someone buys something from you via goods/services then you pay the fee.

If you are sending a gift of money to someone via the friends/family option then the sender pays any fee (normally only if they fund it via a card).
