Hi Look it is so hard to email PP. Even if I type PP into this title above it says its wrong. What are these people doing. I am in Australia and no one answers the helpline. It doesn't even say wait time. PP make so much money and just treat us, their customers like crap!
I just want to know why I have to allow PP access to my email account to just pay someone some money. I don't want PP in my email account thank you!

Because the email address is what identifies your PayPal account. There is no account number. Can't be sending money all anonymously no more. No nicknames, fake names, everything has to be real and verifiable. You can have the recipient who has a PayPal account send you via email an invoice or money request and see if you can pay it with a credit or debit card. No email address or PayPal account needed. You'll have to pay a relatively small fee though.
