Someone has paid me & it's not a personal transaction. So I tried going through the statements, which are a total confusion as you get money request, pending, conversion, money in from your bank etc. I think I've managed to isolate the business payments made to me. And going through my personal spending of Facebook donations, eBay stuff etc has been useful to me personally.
But, I'm an accountant & for VAT in the UK my clients have to use MTD software, such as Sage, Quickbooks etc. Paypal has become much more popular as a way to pay & trade, and I need to know how to get transactions into my clients books. Could it be auto enabled? Or will I need to tell them always use a csv? And having seen these csv's, how do you make sense of them before uploading a load of gobblegook into their accounts records ?
