I have got a mail for confirmation of payment from a mail id with a transaction Id.
The mail has PayPal logo but I never find any details in my PayPal account. It is asking me to ship the product first to get the money in my account.
I am doubtful that the mail is genuine and this might be a fraud. Can you help me to understand if the mail is really from PayPal and the transaction id is genuine.
How can I know more about the transaction using the transaction Id?
It is a scam. If they paid, you should see a transaction into your PayPal account, even if PayPal put 21 day hold on it and is in your pending balance. Congrats for having your intuitive scam radar on.
